A retired Senior Career Diplomat from Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs with extensive postings across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
Held key roles in international organizations, including as Director at the Indian Ocean Rim Association (IORA), where he oversaw trade, investment, tourism, and the blue economy, and as Head of the Indonesia-Malaysia-Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) in promoting sub-regional economic cooperation.
Post-retirement, he remains active in international cooperation, MSME development, Women’s empowerment, and the advancement of the digital Halal ecosystem. He collaborates with several Indonesian Universities, local governments, and Islamic Religious Organizations to establish Halal centers and support inclusive economic growth.
Additionally also leads several community projects in West Sumatra and Riau province, including clean water initiatives and mosque renovations in Kamang Village.
